When I saw Asia and Aria walk around the corner, my jaw DROPPED, y’all! I mean c’mon, look at how adorable this mother-daughter duo is together…

They are a breathtaking duo, especially in their matching dresses + beautiful flower gardens + whimsy summer light = M A G I C !

Absolutely precious.

Aria was so energetic the entire session and running around the entire time, telling me “oh we should take a picture here! And here! Oh let’s twirl our dresses! Mommy let me kiss your cheek! Mommy let me kiss your forehead!” 

When figuring out locations for their shoot, Asia had to ask me about how the diversity is in the area because they didn’t want to cause any trouble…

The fact she had to ask that because of the color of their skin absolutely breaks my heart. We need to keep fighting for justice and stand up against racism, even when it’s not trending on the news anymore… I can be the first to say that these two are the most beautiful souls, inside and out. And Melanie.Co won’t tolerate racism of ANY kind and will ALWAYS stand for your people.

Asia & Aria, thank you for trusting me to capture and witness your beautiful, unbreakable mother-daughter bond.

Your strength, wit, beauty, wisdom, and love as a duo is unstoppable. This session left me in tears at the end of their session.

You both are SO bold & beautiful & brave, and I admire you both very much!

I see you, I hear you, and I will always stand with you.

And of course, dance and twirl with you too!

We loved adventuring and exploring the lush botanical gardens together! We were all in AWE of the beauty all around us… couldn’t have been a more perfect location for their mother-daughter photoshoot!

Aria would say, “Mommy! Watch me twirl my dress! I’m going to spin again! Even faster this time!” Her excitement of twirling her dress is an important reminder to keep holding onto the little joys and moments in life…May you never lose that wonder & Joy in your soul, Ms. Aria!

Never stop kissing and hugging your mama either, Ms. Aria! xoxo

The love you two have for each other is SO unbreakable and unstoppable… the power duo of the century right there no cap! And you two are so beautiful, sweet, kind, funny, I could go on and on!

None of us wanted to end the session! It was such a BLAST!
