Back in December, I received an amazing inquiry from Izma saying she wanted to do a sexy maternity shoot at a waterfall… we quickly bonded over the idea and had mutual excitement for Izma and James’ first-born child!

As an outdoor adventure photographer for weddings, elopements, motherhood, families, couples, and seniors… it should go without saying that I obviously LOVE adventure shoots! Something about creating an unforgettable experience through a mutually shared adventure with my clients is just so special….

There are just SO many gorgeous spots in Washington for adventure photoshoots, and this spot is no exception! We have a little bit of EVERYTHING in our state, and I love exploring with my couples, families, and seniors!

Plus, nothing gets more Pacific Northwest than driving to the mountains and hiking to an iconic PNW waterfall for maternity photos! It was an epic location and picture perfect for a maternity shoot…

Aren’t they the most gorgeous together?!

Many visitors and passersby were congratulating them, which was very sweet! 

We had such a blast, laughing and creating memories the entire evening at the falls.

Izma and James are high school sweethearts and just recently celebrated 7 years being together! They are welcoming Isabella Ruby to their family in July 2020! 

We had fun hiking to Franklin Falls and traversing down some steep and slippery rocks. Definitely not for a mother faint at heart though! She absolutely ROCKED it, and James was such a gentleman to Izma the entire hike and session! 

I brought my portable charging station for them to change in, which came in handy! Someone asked if we were camping down here, which I thought was a funny comment because that would be a mighty small tent for us 🤣

The great thing about the falls is that we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time on a gorgeous summer evening! 

Aren’t they absolutely gorgeous?! I couldn’t stop saying “OH EM GEEEE” the entire session, haha.

I’m still swooning about how adorable these two are together! They already love their daughter Isabella SO much, and I can’t wait for them to meet her… I can’t wait to meet her either!

These two truly deserve a trophy for what they did tonight!  I hope you both celebrated by eating lots of good food afterwards! A warm bath and massage to relax your muscles sounds so nice too…
