Emily & Rob’s Intimate Wedding at Lake Wenatchee was incredibly special! Everything was intentional, the pace was slower, the emotions felt closer, and every moment carried a little extra weight.
A peaceful day,
An intimate celebration,
And a love story that feels deeply rooted, joyful, and full of grace. That is how I’d sum up their day!

It was a sunny, windy afternoon surrounded by their very closest family and longtime friends… which set the stage for a celebration that felt deeply personal, peaceful, and full of love!

But for me, this wedding carried an extra layer of meaning. Emily’s wedding marked the fourth and final Trudgeon wedding I’ve had the honor of capturing. I’ve been there for every single one of the siblings’ wedding days, watching this incredible family celebrate love again and again over the years. Each wedding was completely unique, yet every single one felt grounded in something deeper.
You could truly feel that God was present in each of these celebrations, guiding every story in its own beautiful way. And with Emily and Rob, the tradition came to the sweetest close.

A Day Focused on Presence
What stood out most about Emily and Rob’s wedding day was how present they were with each other. There was no rush or pressure. Just two beautiful people soaking in every second together!
They shared a quiet, private first look away from the crowd, giving them space to truly take in the moment before the ceremony began. It was tender, emotional, and completely genuine.
Emily burst out laughing when Rob started rapping his vows!

The wind danced across the lake, the sun warmed the mountains, and their closest people gathered nearby as they promised forever to one another!

A Beautiful Ending to a Family Tradition
Capturing Emily and Rob’s wedding was not just about documenting a beautiful day… It felt like closing this chapter for the Trudgeon Family and celebrating a new chapter to come!
Being trusted to capture all four Trudgeon weddings is something I will always hold close to my heart. Watching this family grow (literally, as schoolmates and neighbors), celebrate, and capturing them entering new seasons of life has been an incredible honor.
And Emily and Rob ended the tradition in the most beautiful way!

Golden Hour Portraits
Later in the evening, we snuck away for golden hour portraits, and it felt like the world slowed down for them.
Instead of rushing through photos, I simply let them be together.

They laughed, held each other close, and walked along the shoreline as the light softened over the water. They twirled and danced to their 1st Dance Song, climbed boulders as the sun reached the horizon, and soaked up every minute together. Emily and Rob simply lived in the moment, and I had the privilege of documenting every moment!
Their favorite place to be is in each other’s arms, and you could see that truth in every single frame.

Emily and Rob, thank you for letting me be part of such a meaningful day. It was truly unforgettable. 🤍✨
Every wedding has its own special kind of magic. If you’re planning an intimate wedding at Lake Wenatchee or somewhere in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, I’d love to help capture the real moments that make your day yours. The quiet first looks, golden hour portraits, and the spontaneous moments like when a groom starts rapping his vows and everyone starts laughing.
Those are the memories that last a lifetime. 🤍
